Comedian Mo Amer’s journey is like no other. From a Palestinian kid in Kuwait, to a war refugee in Texas, to one of the hottest comics in the country — his life story makes for hilarious and surprising comedy. He’s the creator and star of the award-winning, semi-autobiographical Netflix series Mo. He also starred in Hulu’s Ramy and has two Netflix specials, The Vagabond and Mohammed in Texas. Mo has an incredible gift for bringing people together by laughing at our differences. He finds the funny in culture, language, religion, immigration, family and the weirdness of daily life. For audiences 18+ This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, smart watches, smart accessories, cameras or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue and after your tickets have been scanned, phones will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests can access their phones throughout the event at designated Phone Use Areas in the venue. All phones will be re-secured in Yondr cases before returning to the event space.
