About the event
This year's theme, "Together We Thrive: Unity and Resilience," is a powerful tribute to the strength of our community and gives remembrance to Newark residents who have been impacted by hate crimes and loss. It serves as a beacon of diversity, inclusion, and community pride, uniting individuals in celebration of our shared values and identities. In 2022, 18% of all hate crimes in the state of New Jersey were bias motivated by sexual orientation gender identity according to the Department of Justice. Our community needs your involvement now more than ever.
